• Choose a photograph that is a good likeness of the sitter. Sometimes photographs may capture an image of the subject that “doesn’t look like him or her”.
• Photograph should be clear and high definition, opposite to blurry, foggy, too dark, too light etc.
• I recommend front view, 3/4 view or profile.
• Be sure subject’s is well lit.

Also:

• You can have me take the pictures (photographs) of the subject(s) to be used as reference for the portrait.
