Sketch For The Sake of It

But, what is a sketch? According to Collins Dictionary: “A sketch is a drawing that is done quickly without a lot of details”

Yeah! Love me

Girl on a scooter with a flag

This is a cockatoo. This colorful Australian region bird requires a lot of care. They imitate sounds and are quite affectionate. I used gouache and color pencils for this paint sketch. Does anybody have a cockatoo?

Old man. I saw this man and I thought it was an interesting face. He’s looking at something interesting. I think I captured that fascinated look in the expression of his face. I feel that if I had taken a photograph of this man’s face it wouldn’t have been that interesting. This is a classic quick sketch that I enjoy doing.

I drew this horse a few years ago. It’s a civil war horse whose owner has met his fate in the battlefield. It’s a sad subject, like war always is.

I just made this color sketch of these awesome looking fishes. Is your pet a fish? Did you know that fishes talk to each other? They communicate with each other by making sounds and smells. Fishes also have taste buds all over their body. They find food this way. Goldfishes can live for over 40 years! That’s a mighty long life for a fish.
